Quarter Final Draw Details

The draw for the Champions League final stages will take place in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday morning and for the first time in the competition’s history, four teams from one country will be in the hat. That country of course is England after Liverpool defeated Inter Milan on aggregate to join Chelsea, Arsenal and Man United in the last eight.

Reds boss Rafa Benitez hailed the achievements of the Premier League‘s big four, “This win shows the power and strength of the Premier League,” said Benitez. “We have fine clubs who are among the best in Europe, a league that is the same and players of quality who are some of the best in Europe.”

The four other teams on the road to Moscow are Barcelona (Spain), Roma (Italy), Fenebache (Turkey) and Schalke (Germany).

The quarter final matches will take place on April 1st/2nd and just a week later on the 8th/9th.
