Jamie Carragher and Xabi Alonso have been earning much praise from fans and the media following the 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
Carragher was awarded man of the match by Sky Sports and the official LFC website, while match winner Alonso currently shares the lead with Carra in our vote in the forums.
The win was most certainly a team performance and Albert Riera and Javier Mascherano have also been acclaimed. Riera in particular impressed and gave Jose Bosingwa a torrid 90 minutes.
