It’s been a busy news week for Liverpool and almost all of it has been good, bar the Tom Hicks Propoganda, and with the Champions League draw later this morning it has also been announced the assault charges against Steven Gerrard have been dropped.
It’s more good news for the Liverpool skipper who was charged with assault and affray following an incident in a nightclub in January.
The 28 year old midfielder will still face the smaller charge of affray, which will be heared at Liverpool Crown Court on April 3rd – the day before the Reds’ travel to Fulham.
