Babel tips Ngog for success

Liverpool winger Ryan Babel has backed teammate David Ngog to improve with age and become a great player at the club.

Ngog was signed from Paris St Germain last summer and has scored three times for the Reds since the move to Merseyside.

Babel told LFC Magazine that he can see a lot of potential in the young French striker, who turned 20 earlier this month.

Babel said, “He wants to learn, just like I do, and will only get better.

“David is quite a tall player and that can alter the way you use your body in games.

“If I can help him in any way I’ll offer my advice just to make it a bit easier for him to try and take defenders on physically and that kind of thing.”

“As I say, he’s a player with a lot of potential and if he keeps working hard he can be a very important player for Liverpool Football Club.”
