Line-up vs West Brom

Rafa Benitez makes two changes to his starting line-up for today’s trip to The Hawthorns and relegation-threatened West Brom.

Victory for the Reds would see them secure a second place finish in the Premier League and with it an automatic Champions League place. But a win for the hosts would see them continue their fight against relegation down to the last day of the season, next Sunday.

Emiliano Insua and Daniel Agger come in for Fabio Aurelio and Martin Skrtel, whilst Lucas partners Javier Macherano and Steven Gerrard in midfield, with Xabi Alonso returning from injury to make the bench.

Liverpool: Reina, Carragher, Agger, Arbeloa, Insua, Mascherano, Lucas, Kuyt, Gerrard, Benayoun, Torres. Subs: Cavalieri, Dossena, Alonso, Riera, Babel, Ngog, Skrtel.

Kick-off at the Hawthorns is 1.30pm.
