Disappointed Aurelio looks to Chelsea clash

Fabio Aurelio says it is important Liverpool don’t dwell on their 2-0 defeat to Fiorentina too long and look ahead to Sunday’s Premier League clash away to Chelsea.

The Reds lost their second game of the Champions League group stage in Italy, but now face the daunting task of going to Stamford Bridge looking to lift themselves ahead of their opponents in the league table.

Aurelio made just his second start of the season after suffering from a knee injury picked up over the summer.

“We would have hoped for a better result here, but we can’t think about that now and must think about the future,” he told the club’s official web site.

“We have an important game in the Barclays Premier League against Chelsea on Sunday and we must try to make things right.

“Football is like this. You cannot think in the past, you must always look to the future. Hopefully it will be a different game and we can go there and get a result.”
