Reserves ready for Man Utd clash

Liverpool Reserves continue their Barclays Reserves Premier League North campaign tonight with the hotly anticipated derby against Manchester Utd Reserves at Prenton Park.

After one win and one defeat in their opening two games of the season against Blackburn and Bolton respectively, John McMahon’s side go looking for three points over on the Wirral tonight.

Goalkeeper David Martin returns to the side after injury whilst Jay Spearing is on the bench.

David Ngog starts for the Reds, alongside Daniel Ayala who briefly broke into the first team last month.
