Fernando Torres has returned to full training ahead of this Saturday’s Premier League clash away to Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
The Liverpool striker has been struggling with a groin injury picked up on international duty with Spain back in October and has spent the last three weeks undergoing intensive treatment.
But now Torres has begun full training and could play in this Saturday’s game. Reds boss Rafa Benitez told press at Melwood today, “The position over Torres is very positive and he was feeling good.
“We will see how he is in the next training sessions but it seems as though things are going well.”
