Liverpool vs FK Rabotnicki

Liverpool’s season continues tonight with the second leg of this Europa League third qualifying round tie against Macedonian league runners-up, FK Rabotnicki.

A brace of goals from David N’gog, finishing expertly, in the away leg last Thursday ensured Roy Hodgson’s Reds take a comfortable 2-0 lead back to Anfield.

And Hodgson may now take the opportunity to give some of the more senior players a competitive run-out, after their first taste of pre-season in Sunday’s 1-0 friendly defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach in Germany.

Joe Cole could well make his competitive debut for the Reds, whilst the likes of Dirk Kuyt, Ryan Babel, Pepe Reina and Fernando Torres only returned to training this week following their World Cup Final exploits.

Tickets for this game are still on sale and can be purchased from the club’s ticket office.

Kick-off at Anfield is 7.45pm tonight.
