Barcelona striker Bojan is back in the headlines today being linked with a move to Liverpool this summer – at least in the Spanish press.
Marca report that Liverpool and Director of Football Strategy Damien Comolli are now “confident” that they can lure the services of Bojan on a season long deal.
Arsenal and Tottenham are also said to be interested in the 21-year-old who is struggling to break into Barcelona‘s first team ahead of the likes of Lionel Messi, David Villa and Pedro.
Liverpool have also been linked today with a move for Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
Like his namesake, former Liverpool midfielder Momo, Sissoko is French-born on Malian descent. He plays both defensive midfield and attacking, and has been likened to Patrick Vieria.
Sissoko has won three caps for his country and almost moved to Tottenham last summer, before the move fell through.
He is reported in the French press as saying, “I had contact with several English clubs, notably Liverpool but I preferred to commit myself to Toulouse, the club where I have been educated, to get more experience. It is up to me to go on improving, to become a world class player.”
And there’s much speculation mounting over whether Alberto Aquilani will return to Liverpool next season after a season on loan to Juventus.
