Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole is currently in talks with French champions Lille over a season long loan.
Cole, 29, signed for Liverpool last summer but started only 11 League matches last season and hasn’t featured in Kenny Dalglish‘s plans for the opening games this season.
He has been widely linked with moves away from Anfield throughout the summer, with QPR and Tottenham reportedly interested.
Lille appear to be an attractive prospect for the former England international as they can offer Champions League football.
