Liverpool defender to QPR?

Liverpool outcast Philipp Degen (yes, he’s still a LFC player) could be set to make a move to Queens Park Rangers before the sumemr is out.

Degen has struggled to make an impact at Anfield since his move from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2008, with a string of injury problems.

He spent last season on loan to Stuttgart, but the German club weren’t keen on making the deal permanent.

QPR boss Neil Warnock is thought to have expressed an interest in the Swiss right-back as he looks to strengthen his squad following a 0-4 defeat to Bolton on the opening day of the season.

QPR lost right-back Kieron Dyer to injury just minutes into the new season.

Meanwhile, defender Daniel Ayala has completed his move to Norwich City for £800,000.
