LFC Line-up vs Man Utd: Suarez starts, Carroll dropped

Luis Suarez starts for Liverpool today against Manchester United at Old Trafford, starting his first game for the Reds since before his recent nine-match ban.

As highlighted too much this week, Suarez will come face-to-face with United defender Patrice Evra today for the first time since he was accused of racism by the Frenchman in October.

Steven Gerrard leads Liverpool’s midfield alongside Jay Spearing, Jordan Henderson and Stewart Downing, whilst Andy Carroll drops to the bench with Dirk Kuyt preferred.

Craig Bellamy is also amongst the substitutes for Liverpool today.

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Spearing, Gerrard, Henderson, Downing, Kuyt, Suarez.

Subs: Doni, Carragher, Bellamy, Carroll, Adam, Shelvey, Kelly.

Man Utd: De Gea, Rafael, Evans, Ferdinand, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs, Welbeck, Rooney.
