Sammy Lee re-joins Bolton

Former Liverpool assistant manager Sammy Lee has re-joined Bolton Wanderers, as their Head of Academy Coaching.

Lee, 53, was manager at The Reebok Stadium for a short spell in 2007, having joined The Trotters as assistant to Sam Allardyce two years earlier.

After leaving Wanderers in 2007, he rejoined Liverpool as assistant manager to Rafa Benitez, a position he held up until last summer.

Prior to joining Bolton in 2005, Lee had worked under Graeme Souness, Roy Evans and Gerard Houllier at Liverpool, where he made over 200 appearances as a player.

Good luck, Sammy.
