Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish says the club will not play their FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium on April 15th, the day of the anniversary of the Hillsborough Disaster.

The Reds will play the winner of the Sunderland vs Everton replay, but look set to play it on Saturday, April 14th to avoid a clash with the 22nd anniversary of the tragedy.

Dalglish said this evening, “We won’t play on the 15th. The FA and UEFA have always been exemplary and very supportive, and that’s great credit to them.

“I don’t think it’s even worth a line in a paper that we might play on the 15th because we won’t.

“We’ve never played on the 15th before, have we? So there you are. Why would they change now?”
