Former Liverpool captain John Barnes says that no one at Liverpool, including manager Kenny Dalglish, is immune from criticism, however critics must think about whether their comments will benefit the club during this “disappointing” period.
Barnes believes that the continued support Liverpool’s under-performing players are receiving from Dalglish will ultimately help them and unite them to get the season back on track.
Liverpool’s 2-0 defeat at Newcastle on Sunday was their 6th defeat in 7 league games.
