Liverpool Ladies 1-4 Bristol Academy
Liverpool Ladies’ start to the new Women’s Super League season got off to a catestrophic start as they were defeat 4-1 at home to Bristol Academy on Sunday afternoon.
Some sloppy Liverpool defending let in the visitors to the Ladies’ home ground at Skelmersdale United four more times, before Reds’ defender Nicola Twohig found herself in yards of space in front of goal and expertly fired home a consolation goal.
Liverpool Ladies next face Chelsea Ladies at Staines Town FC on 22nd April and currently sit bottom of the league table, made up of 8 teams.
