LFC touch down in Boston

Liverpool have landed in Boston to begin their two week stay in America, where they will be based throughout their mini tour of North America.

Brendan Rodgers’ side face FC Toronto this Saturday, before hosting AS Roma at Fenway Park in Boston the following Wednesday and then Tottenham in Baltimore.

The Liverpool squad, without the six players who were in the England squad for Euro 2012, arrived in Boston on Monday afternoon local time, with Rodgers to hold a press conference later this evening.

The squad features several of the Reds’ academy players and the excitement is clear from some of the players sharing their enthusiasm at being on tour as part of the senior squad.
