Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers held his pre-match press conference ahead of Thursday’s Europa League second leg qualifier against FC Gomel at Anfield.
The Northern Irishman was first asked about the news that Luis Suarez has signed an extended contract at the club. Rodgers praised the player and explained how excited he is to work with the Uruguayan forward this season.
Rodgers also admitted that another club had enquired about the player earlier this summer.
