Spanish youngster Suso has signed a new contract with Liverpool FC, it has been confirmed today.
The talented 18 year old, who has recently broken into the first-team, only had 8 months remaining on his current deal at Anfield.
After making his debut against Young Boys in the Europa League, he has gone on to feature in three Premier League games; coming on as sub against Man United at half-time for his League debut, and starting the last two matches against Norwich and Stoke.
Suso described today as “one of the best days of my life”.
He told the official LFC website, liverpoolfc.com;
“I am happy Brendan has shown trust in me. I had no questions about signing a new deal and I am really glad to have done so.
“I am comfortable here. I have played some games for the first team and I hope to continue doing that, but I need to work hard every day for that to happen.
As with most contract deals recently, the contract length has not been disclosed and is instead described as “long-term”.
Liverpool recently handed a new contract to defender Daniel Agger and are expected to conclude new deals for winger Raheem Sterling and defender Andre Wisdom soon.
