Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers told reporters at his press conference today that he doesn’t expect too much more activity for the club during the January transfer window.
However, he hinted that there may be one more new arrival at Anfield after completing the signing of England international striker Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea this week.
Out of the door at Liverpool has been Joe Cole, moving back to former club West Ham after a miserable two and a half seasons at the Reds, and young striker Adam Morgan, who has moved to Rotherham United on loan.
Rodgers told press ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup clash at Mansfield Town, “We are not going to have a lot of money to do anything [else] in the window.
“We won’t have that in January. There might be another but there is not much more business to be done.”
