Fulham v Liverpool goes ahead after strike action cancelled

Liverpool’s Premier League clash at Fulham on Wednesday night WILL go ahead after London tubes strike action was cancelled.

There were doubts on Monday over whether the game would go ahead after Fulham expressed concerns that their staff and stewards would be unable to get to Craven Cottage.

However, the planned the strike action was cancelled and a simple statement released by Fulham on Tuesday afternoon reads:

Fulham Football Club can confirm, that due to the resolution of the proposed London Underground strike action, its game versus Liverpool on Wednesday night will go ahead as planned.

Fulham vs Liverpool gets underway at 8pm on Wednesday, 12th February 2014. It is not live on television in the UK.
