Brendan Rodgers and backroom staff to run Liverpool Half Marathon for charity

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers and his team of backroom staff will run the Liverpool Half Marathon in March to raise money for the club’s charity, the Liverpool FC Foundation.

Over 9,000 runners will take part in the route on March 23rd 2014, which heads south from the city centre, and around Sefton Park.

On his participation in the run, Rodgers said, “The team and I are looking forward to running and finishing the race together, whilst enjoying the atmosphere and raising funds for our Liverpool FC Foundation.

“The foundation plays such an important role in our communities, creating sporting opportunities that have a big impact on people’s lives.”
