Rodgers addressed a room of media at Melwood as Liverpool look to build on their FA Cup victory at Wimbledon on Monday night when they go to the Stadium of Light in the Premier League‘s 12:45pm kick-off on Saturday.

"He will be back into the country in the next 24 hours and he is into the final stages of that rehab," Rodgers said of Sturridge.
