The Reds’ boss explained that Sturridge had a knock in a challenge with Jordon Ibe on the side of his knee but that it is nothing serious.

The German hopes to have the Reds’ main striker back for Thursday’s Europa League game against Rubin Kazan at Anfield, and should be available to face Southampton next Sunday.
