The local rivalry has produced some incredible moments down the years with some stunning strikes from the likes of Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge in recent years.
Sunday’s Premier League clash is as tense as ever, with the pressure very much on Brendan Rodgers and his side to get a result amid a poor run of form.
Liverpool have won just one game within 90 minutes in their last eight matches and haven’t won away since their 1-0 victory at Stoke City on the opening day of the season almost two months ago.
But Rodgers has looked to the Reds’ record at Goodison Park under his reign as manager—three draws—as a reason for confidence.
