Confirmed Liverpool lineup for League Cup final: Lucas starts

Jurgen Klopp names an unchanged XI for today’s League Cup final against Man City at Wembley.

That means Lucas Leiva continues at centre-back, alongside Mamadou Sakho.

Daniel Sturridge starts his fourth consecutive game, with Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho in attack.

Emre Can and Jordan Henderson continue in midfield.

Adam Bogdan is named on the bench, possibly rewarding him for his exploits in getting the Reds to the final with his penalty saves against Carlisle in the third round.

Jon Flanagan is also on the bench, along with Joe Allen and Adam Lallana returning from injury.

Kick off at Wembley is 4.30pm GMT.
