Video: Daniel Sturridge on Liverpool’s best trainer, most skilful player & more

During a quick-fire interview at Liverpool’s Melwood training facility, Daniel Sturridge gave an insight into the Reds’ dressing room.

Speaking to club sponsor Subway, Sturridge highlighted Jordan Henderson as the best trainer in Jurgen Klopp‘s squad, while it was a toss up between Philippe Coutinho and Jordon Ibe as the most skilful player.

The striker also outed Henderson as a ‘Belieber’, and picked Adam Bogdan as having the worst taste in music at the club, saying it was “just too much.”

Bogdan also came under fire for his fashion sense, along with Simon Mignolet and James Milner, while Sturridge also surprisingly selected Milner as the loudest player at the club.

“Of anyone I’d probably say Milly’s the loudest,” he said.

“I know he’s got that tag ‘Boring James Milner‘, all of that, but he isn’t really that boring!”

Sturridge has successfully recovered from a bout of injuries in 2015/16, and is now taking up a key role in Klopp’s Liverpool squad.

The striker has scored five goals in his last seven games in all appearances, and can look forward to a big season next time out, after a summer at the European Championship with England.
