Klopp will be looking for his side to build on last weekend’s 4-3 win away to Arsenal, and has named a strong lineup as a result.
Simon Mignolet continues in goal, behind a back four of Nathaniel Clyne, Dejan Lovren, Ragnar Klavan and James Milner, who takes Alberto Moreno‘s place at left-back.
Jordan Henderson continues in midfield, joined by Georginio Wijnaldum in what is likely to be a 4-2-3-1 formation.
With Sadio Mane out with a shoulder injury, Sturridge comes into the attack, supported by Adam Lallana, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho.
Moreno is joined by Alex Manninger, Joel Matip, Kevin Stewart, Marko Grujic, Emre Can and Divock Origi on the substitutes’ bench.
Mane, Mamadou Sakho, Joe Gomez, Lucas Leiva and Loris Karius are all out injured, but with Klopp able to call from a plethora of strong options this season, the German has been able to navigate their absence.
Burnley present a tough test of the Reds’ credentials at Turf Moor, with Sean Dyche’s side likely to defend deep throughout.
Sturridge’s intelligent movement and predatory instinct, with Firmino prowling in support, could prove key.
