“Klopp signing inspired, must stop being a selling club” – How Liverpool fans see 6 years of FSG

Fenway Sports Group took over as owners of Liverpool FC six years on October 14, making a mixed impression on supporters so far.

John W. Henry and Tom Werner sealed the acquisition of the club from Tom Hicks and George Gillett in 2010, bringing an end to a tumultuous time for the Reds off the pitch.

Over the past six years, Henry, Werner and FSG have overseen considerable change on Merseyside, most recently with the redevelopment of Anfield’s Main Stand.

But there have also been some controversial moves, such as their widely criticised plan to hike up ticket prices from the current season—with a walkout protest ensuring this didn’t go ahead.

So how are FSG regarded by Liverpool supporters six years into their tenure as owners?

Plenty saw positives in their spell with the club so far…
