Fenway Sports Group took over as owners of Liverpool FC six years on October 14, making a mixed impression on supporters so far.
John W. Henry and Tom Werner sealed the acquisition of the club from Tom Hicks and George Gillett in 2010, bringing an end to a tumultuous time for the Reds off the pitch.
Over the past six years, Henry, Werner and FSG have overseen considerable change on Merseyside, most recently with the redevelopment of Anfield’s Main Stand.
But there have also been some controversial moves, such as their widely criticised plan to hike up ticket prices from the current season—with a walkout protest ensuring this didn’t go ahead.
So how are FSG regarded by Liverpool supporters six years into their tenure as owners?
Plenty saw positives in their spell with the club so far…
best thing that ever happened to this club, anyone who says otherwise is deluded

A few hiccups along the way mostly great. Financially stable, decent squad and top manager. A bit of silverware now please ?

wiped out the debt, expanded the ground, hired a top quality manager, squad vastly improved. The future is bright

saved the club from financial ruin. BR was a mistake but Klopp was an amazing get. People forget the bad times to quickly

Positive, slightly delayed in implementations, but doing the right things

they've done well, had vision and when they get exactly what they want, it has been good.

naturally took awhile to get accustomed but have made conscious effort to get things right. Best wishes, YNWA

While others pointed out the pitfalls in their leadership…

they said that they would under promise & over deliver. Don't think they have so far.

the Annie road issue has started to cast a dark shadow over what would have been a great 6 year period of ownership

Some were on the fence…
not the best but definitely not the worst either .. Signing Klopp was the highlight of the FSG tenure..

Until they had brought in Klopp I'd have said negative but being the owners of Liverpool FC must be very tricky.

Wasted a lot of money on bad players at start. Didn't build a new stadium. When Suarez was sold didn't buy quality. Otherwise good

And finally, one supporter pointed out perhaps their biggest mistake…
