Video: Liverpool’s tunnel cam behind the scenes at the Merseyside derby

Liverpool FC have provided an insight into how the Saturday’s Merseyside derby played out behind the scenes, as the Reds beat Everton 3-1.

Goals from Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi sealed a priceless victory in the second derby of the season, with Jurgen Klopp‘s side doing the double.

The afternoon also saw the Reds utilise Anfield’s new facilities for the first time, including their new state-of-the-art changing room.

In a video released by the club in the aftermath of the derby, supporters got a chance to experience how it played out off the pitch.

This underlined the camaraderie between Klopp’s squad, particularly with Lucas Leiva‘s reaction to the win, and also in stands with the tributes to the late Ronnie Moran.

Meanwhile, Everton assistant manager Erwin Koeman proved himself a much better sport than his brother.

Frustratingly however, the video also shows Mane limping off the pitch and down the tunnel and, given the rumoured severity of his knee injury, how misguided his walking off unaided was.

After the game, Dejan Lovren and Emre Can took media duties alongside Origi, celebrating another crucial three points.
