Video: Adam Lallana reveals all on the Liverpool dressing room in quickfire Q&A

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana sat down with Soccer AM for a quickfire Q&A on his Reds team-mates, revealing his Players’ Player candidate.

The 29-year-old took part in the Sky Sports programme’s Teammates 2.0 series, answering questions on the Liverpool dressing room.

He chose Simon Mignolet as the Reds’ worst dressed, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino as the biggest divas and, perhaps surprisingly, Lucas Leiva as the strongest player at the club.

Less of a shock was Lallana’s choice for Players’ Player, opting for his fellow playmaker, Coutinho.

“It has to be Coutinho. Just on the eye, some of the things he does, you’d pay to go and watch him,” he explained.

“Just because of how easy on the eye it is, it’s effortless at times. It’s great that we’ve got him playing for us and hopefully he has another fantastic season.”

Lallana picked himself as Liverpool’s teacher’s pet, attesting to his strong relationship with Jurgen Klopp.

“He’s always got his arms around the lads, and he’ll give you a talking to if you need one,” he said.

“I’ve had a couple off him at half-time, during the game he’s screaming at you, but I think that’s a good thing.”

Lallana has returned to pre-season training after an extended break this summer, and will be hoping to slot back into Klopp’s starting lineup ahead of 2017/18.
