Jurgen Klopp held his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, ahead of Liverpool’s home game with West Ham on Saturday.
After 10 days without a game, since thrashing Porto 5-0 in the Champions League, Klopp has a fully fit squad to choose from for the visit of David Moyes’ side.
Klopp had plenty of praise for the visitors and their manager, saying: “It’s a really difficult job against West Ham. They are, I think, in the form table they are sixth.
“Arnautovic is flying, probably Lanzini back. Experienced, tall, well organised (team).”
There was talk on a new contract for Sadio Mane, giving some of Steven Gerrard’s under-18s side a taste of life at Melwood, and on Klopp’s aims for the rest of the season.
“Immediately after the game against Porto, I thought about West Ham. That’s our life,” he assessed. “What I want is that we’re really ready for this game.”
