Kyiv is awash with red as Liverpool supporters have arrived for tonight’s Champions League final clash with Real Madrid at NSC Olimpiyskiy.

The scene is set for the Reds’ seventh European Cup final as they bid to secure the trophy for the sixth time, in a remarkable third season under Jurgen Klopp.

Having taken on Hoffenheim, Sevilla, Maribor, Spartak Moscow, Porto, Man City and Roma on the way, Liverpool have set up a fierce clash with Liga giants Real in Ukraine.

Though the decision to hold the final in Kyiv has been roundly criticised as issues with flights and accommodation persist, leaving some ticket-holding supporters back in England, the stage is still set for an eye-catching clash.

And Reds have travelled to their city in their droves, with the party getting started early in Shevchenko Park on Saturday morning.
