The much-anticipated showdown between Liverpool and title rivals Man City ended at 0-0 after late drama at Anfield, and supporters felt it was a fair result.

A hard-fought, frenetic contest ended all square as the Reds managed to grind out a valuable point against the reigning Premier League champions.

Liverpool ultimately have Riyad Mahrez to thank for taking a point after the Algerian blazed a woeful penalty into the upper tier of the Anfield Road end five minutes from time.
