Anfield to host Liverpool’s FA Youth Cup semi-final on Sunday

The Liverpool U18s will play Watford in the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup on Sunday afternoon, with the tie a great chance to see the youngsters at Anfield.

With Jurgen Klopp‘s side taking on Fulham in the Premier League later in the afternoon, the young Reds will kick off at midday, looking to book their place in the final.

The U18s have been in exceptional form so far this season, led by the goalscoring prowess of Paul Glatzel and Bobby Duncan, who both struck in the quarter-final thrashing of Bury.

Glatzel netted twice and Duncan, Rhys Williams and Jake Cain also scored in a 5-1 victory at Gigg Lane, while Watford progressed after an extra-time winner from Ryan Cassidy, beating Leicester 2-1.

Sunday is set to be a fiercely contested clash, as Liverpool bid to reach the final of the FA Youth Cup for the first time since 2009.
