Liverpool have been pitted against Porto in the Champions League quarter-finals and supporters have provided differing opinions on the draw.
The Reds will face the Portuguese outfit in the last eight next month, in a repeat of last season’s last-16 tie, which Jurgen Klopp‘s side won 5-0 on aggregate.
The first leg takes place at home on April 9/10, and the away decider is scheduled for April 16/17—the official dates are set to be announced shortly.
Elsewhere, an exciting Ajax side will face Juventus, Tottenham will take on Man City in an all-Premier League affair and Barcelona are tasked with knocking out the Reds’ bitter rivals Man United.
Should Liverpool progress to the semi-finals, they will face the winners of the Barca-United clash for a place in the final in Madrid on June 1.
Here’s how Liverpool fans reacted to the draw on social media and our forums.

Happy draw for most Liverpool fans, that.
Marginally disappointed there's extremely little hope of facing this Ajax side in the end…but I'll smile if we end up signing one or two instead of facing them!

“If Carlsberg did euro draws….best draw possible for us”
– Patrick Kelly on Facebook.
It’s very possible that Liverpool can win both or one of the European Cup or The Premier League. To be in either conversation, regardless of whether you think it’s likely, is progress

I don't think that draw could have gone much better for Liverpool…..#LFC #UCLDraw

“I’m loving this right now.”
– Willy Fredo Jo’e Jnr on Facebook.
Realistically from both our POV and City's, I don't think that could have been much better.

Some made a point of not taking Porto for granted, though…
Porto, like any team at this stage, cannot be overlooked.

Don’t. Take. It. For. Granted. ?????????

Porto it is. They shouldn’t be underestimated by any means, but pretty pleased with that.

Want United in the semis.
— Tom McMahon (@tomjpmac) March 15, 2019

“Barcelona or Man Utd in semis, well, it will be Barcelona.”

I’m not getting ahead of myself but if we get beyond Porto that semi looks absolutely epic. Either Messi plus the other two treacherous bastards back at Anfield, or the Mancs. This is what its all about
