Mohamed Salah reached the mark of 50 league strikes for the Reds against Southampton—now you can enjoy each one of them again.
It took a few games more than expected for the brilliant Egyptian to claim goal No. 50, but even that only serves to highlight just how incredible his exploits have been.
Despite a six-game run in the league without a goal, his late effort at St. Mary’s brought up the 50 milestone in fewer games than any other player in Liverpool’s Premier League history.
Fernando Torres previously had the record, with 50 in 72 games, but Salah now has the same amount in 69.
Above, the video from Liverpool FC shows each and every one of them in a spectacular montage, starting with his close-range, bundled in goal against Watford on his league debut.
There have been some memorable strikes along the way—Tottenham, Man City and Everton come to mind.
But other, equally impressive yet easy-to-overlook goals are brought back to life here: a volley against Stoke, his lightning counter-attack with Sadio Mane against West Ham, a brilliant looped header against Bournemouth.
The Liverpool No. 11 has been an incredible acquisition and is a key part of the team as they surge toward, hopefully, a long-awaited Premier League title.
Now back among the goals, don’t bet against him having the decisive say to help tilt the race in the Reds’ favour.
