Top 100 ratings released for FIFA 20 with seven Liverpool players – including two in the top 10

Liverpool have seven players in the 100 highest as EA Sports have released their first FIFA 20 ratings, with Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk both in the top 10.

The latest instalment of the FIFA video game series is set to be available on PS4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch on September 27.

A demo version will be available on Thursday, while Van Dijk has been announced as the cover star of the Champions Edition.

Liverpool are expected to be among the playable teams on the demo, along with Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Man City, PSG, Roma, Atletico Madrid, Club America, LAFC and Vissel Kobe, having signed a long-term deal with EA Sports in July.

EA Sports had already named the top 100 highest-rated players on the upcoming game, but now have confirmed their ratings, with Van Dijk (90) and Salah (90) the best in the Reds squad.

Alisson (89), Andy Robertson (85), Fabinho (85), Sadio Mane (88) and Roberto Firmino (86) also make the list.

No Liverpool players made the top 10 last year, with Salah ranked at No. 27, Mane at No. 60, Firmino at No. 65, Van Dijk at No. 82, Fabinho at No. 84 and Alisson at No. 86.

This means most have enjoyed significant upgrades, while Robertson’s inclusion in the top 100 underlines the progress he has made since joining Liverpool in 2017.

In FIFA 19, the Scot was rated at 83, while shortly after his move to Merseyside he was rated at 79.

Incredibly, Firmino’s rating has stayed the same, with the Brazilian behind the likes of Heung-min Son and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
